~ Peace ~
~ And Quiet ~
It was one of those days peculiar to mortgage lenders. I had put my heart and soul into solving a problem for a borrower, only to have the first-time homebuyer jump ship because someone promised an eighth better on rate for a mortgage that had yet to be locked.
You know what? If that's the worst thing that happens today, we'll be all right.
I just needed a little peace and quiet...

Hello Mike and these photos are amazing and would have fit in very well with my clouds group!
Your wonderful post has been featured at one of my favorite groups at AR ...

Vegas Bob ;o)
Sorry that happened -- buyers are a fickle bunch - more than normal these days it seems -- have a good weekend.
HA! Wait until that buyer gets to the settlement table and sees the lender fees. I have found few borrowers who can adequately shop lenders. Their research is limited to "What's your rate?"
Mike - I agree with Lenn, but add to that .... IF that buyer gets to the settlement table, wait until they see the lender fees. Love your attitude AND your pictures. :)
Mike,
Your photos remind us that we only have to see what's before us! Weather we're looking for God or the good in man.
Unfortunately, like your foolish client most don't see anything.
Bill
In the end you received peace and quite, it is yet to be seen what the borrower actually ended up with.
they may be calling you when it's all said and done with.
Enjoy the day
We are very fortunate to have skies such as these. Nice pic.
Beautiful photos, Mike. Looks like a couple of rain cells there. Would you please sent it north? We haven't had any rain since that crazy dust storm.
HI Mike - I hope that things smooth over for you. And your photos are incredible and indeed peaceful!
Hi Mike, I typed a whole message and it just went away, LOL. I recall saying that it is difficult in our business when you feel so used for making so much effort and then they decide to shop the price. Sorry Man! We all have it happen. It never feels OK
Your photos and the respite of peace make all the unimportant things disappear. At least until you try and pay the bills that is, LOL.
Mike just one word for those pictures ............GORGEOUS!!!
Mike - the pictures are fantastic as usual. Were these morning or afternoon pictures? Have a great weekend.
All,
I just finished writing out individual comments to each of you, thanking you for your kind words of wisdom. When I clicked "Submit" the AR gods must have been taking a break. It all disappeared into the ether... :(

Amazing, how beautiful the simple things in life are if we only take the time to notice and appreciate them!
Great photos...as usual.
Chances are pretty good the guy who jumped ship will get the weinie in the end.
Not an Anthony Weiner joke.
The graphic code for this post was cochin-goraka. What sort of plant or animal is a cochin-goraka? huh?
Hi Mike, Great peace and quiet photos. Not fun when that sort of stuff happens. We had a young couple on the eve of settlement and after much problem solving by their lender, bail out because they were breaking up. I felt bad for us and really bad for the lender.
Gloria
Mike, "Peace" and Quiet" are both outstanding photos and I bet you waited for just the right moment to capture these beauties.
