This winter was exceptionally dry in Arizona, and we always look forward to the Summer Monsoons. Well, they're here, and the seven day forecast shows rain every day this week!
Enjoy the Rain! We do.

We could use some of that here in Texas!
Bill
We get those several times a month during the summer, but we don't live in the desert. In Tennessee if we went for almost 3 months without rain, it would be a real problem. I'll bet it's a lot cooler today.
Larry,
We get nearly all of our annual rain during the summer monsoons. Those big saguaro cacti soak it up, and can go for a year without rain after something like this.
Bill,
Yes you could! Thanks for being the first to comment.

Hopefully they will continue on to Oklahoma. Record number of 100 degree days in June and almost no rain.
Yes, they are finally here. It knocked the top of my tree down last night.
Weeee...thirst quenching rain for all!
yep, looked just like that the last two evenings at my house. Loved it when the temp dropped from 105 to 70 in 10 minutes. Didn't like digging the patio furniture out of the pool, LOL.
Juli,
We want to see photos on your blog!
Sally,
What's the difference between "wee" and "whee?" LOL
Harry,
Sorry about the tree!
Than,
Oklahoma ought to be getting some rain soon!

When it rains, it pours! We look forward to the monsoons here too Mike!
Interesting seasonality for your rains. Since Arizona is relatively close to Caifornia I find it interesting that we get our rains in the winter (Nov-March) and you get yours in the summer months!
Vickie,
I don't know how that works. It's a mystery...
Wanda,
We're sending it your way this week!
