"Mississippi Squirrel Revival"

Well, I wasn't supposed to take a camera into the High School auditorium, but no on told me that before half-time.  (Scuse me, "Intermission.")  By the time they announced that cameras were not permitted, I had thirty or forty photos to share with you.

I didn't record anything, but this video of Ray Stevens "Mississippi Squirrel Revival" will give you an idea of the fabulous time that was had by all!  The Sonoran Sound quartet brought the house down with this one.

Thank you really enjoyed the fun song.  I can't sing it yet but I will.

Great post and I always look for something uplifting to start off the day.  This was it!  Nice touch, ending it with Ray Stevens!  Thank you.

I'm glad to make you smile!

Thanks for being the first to comment!  I'd like to see a post of you singing this song.  :)

Now that looks like it was a lot of fun to attend! That is something I would have also enjoyed!

Great shots!

Next time:

Get permission!

Shot at dress rehearsal.

Take a step ladder.

Take a speller to record the names.  Whoops, that's the way I did it. You can read your own notes.

Stage lighting and make up make fpr great photos. Just back way out or stand on some thing! No one likes looking up noses!  8>))

PS: Would love to see the squirrel lose at a board meeting!  A flying squirrel  could jump from the balcony to the floor of the the senate, Harry Reed could make Sister Better Than You look angelic!

This seem like a really great show from the pictures. I bet the songs were outstanding.

Mike ... Love the Mississippi Squirrel video!!! {Grin}

Tim, if you Google for "The Mississippi Squirrel Revival Lyrics" you'll have a head start on singing the song.  {Double grin}

Mike -- Funny video. Haven't seen Ray Stevens in a long time.  Sounds like it was a fun barbershop singing show.
