Tucson's Reid Park Zoo puts on this event every year, and we go to see the Christmas Lights. This year we had an extra treat! The Girl Scouts sang Christmas Carols and other songs of the Season like "Jingle Bells" and "Deck the Halls." Look at those smiles! They enjoyed singing for us, but not as much as we enjoyed watching and listening!

Good Morning Mike. What awesome pictures. I love this time of years. Especially all the wonderful lights. Merry Christmas
Thanks for the pictures. Looks like fun. Happy Holidays!
Mike,
Merry Christmas!
It's so fitting that this season brings people together who would never interact the rest of the year!

Did you purchase any mint chocolate cookies for the Season?
Great pictures. Thanks for sharing your experience. Wonderful tradition in your community.
Sounds like a good time! Our community does something similar, and everyone always looks forward to it. Turnout is always fantastic, no matter what the weather may be...and in Ohio, Mother Nature can dish out some pretty nasty stuff this time of year! Thanks for sharing - I'll bet they sounded like angels!
We have an event at the zoo in Tampa that is much like that. The kids always love it an so do the adults. Great pictures, Mike.
Toni,
I'd like to see the photos of the Tampa Zoo event!
Rhonda,
Ditto my comment to Toni. Bring on the photos.
Roy,
Thanks for sharing the photo of that beautiful tree!
Harry,
I did, but not at the Zoo Lights event. Love those mint cookies.
Bill,
It is, isn't it?
Jane,
It was. And the temperature was a balmy 66 degrees!
Arleen & Tracey,
Thanks for being the first to comment!

Hi Mike, it is so heart-warming to see the girl scouts participating in their community; once a girl scout always a girl scout! Merry Christmas!
We have had the opportunity to go and listen to both of our grandkids in two different Christmas programs this year. It was one of the best times I have had all year.
How fun. We're planning to go out and drive through the Opryland Hotels outside light display.
That is so nice Mike. Those are the events that really make Christmas. Have a Merry Christmas and a very Happy New Year.
