Okay, a little contest here. All of us run into "notable persons" from time to time.
I remember running into Andy Griffith at a Stuckeys along I-95 on the Carolina border in 1971. Actually, it was in the Mens Room at Stuckeys. We were standing in front of adjoining urinals. It wasn't exactly a photo op...
The lady in the center of this photo is Virginia Morey, known to you as my Darlin'. She was honored as Employee of the Year (1997) for the State of NJ. The event was the opening of the new Atlantic City Convention Center. And why am I there? I was her date.
So who has a photo of themself with a Notable Person? Dig into your archives, and post it in your comment. If you don't have the photo, tell us your story!
This ought to be fun. Go get your friends to participate!

Well Mike - I looked at that picture, and said, "Self, that guy looks familiar, why is it I can't quite place him?". . .LOL
Mike
Great suggestion and something to really think about.
Good luck and success.

Good evening Mike,
Great photo! I too looked at this picture and said..gee..this guys look familiar!! I'm too tired to think but you have a good idea and I'm sure you will get plenty of takers!!
Mike,
My ideas of "notable" and others might not match.
I'm a fan of Andy Griffith, but celebrities in general don't impress me.
Then I did interview (if 2 or 3 questions is an interview) and photograph Ronald Reagan when he first ran for President I was indeed impressed. That same week I did the same with Hubert Humphrey, he nauseated me.
Celebrities can be nice to look at, often entertaining when using other people's words, but underwhelming on their own.
I've financed a few I never enjoyed it.
Bill
Bill,
One of the Secret Service guys just came out with a book, and he agrees with you about Reagan. Thanks for commenting.
Dorie,
Get some sleep and come back tomorrow!
Lou,
Good luck back at ya!
Myrl,
Thanks for being the first to comment. 13 years bleached the color out of my hair! LOL

Mike, I have met a few notable people, I have not been photographed with any of them. Maybe next time!
Tony & Darcy,
Then tell us the story!

No pictures because I met F.Lee Bailey in exactly the same circumstances. Also, and I wish I had this photo, backstage with Frank Zappa at Armadillo World Headquarters! Oh and when I did get a chance for a picture with Jimmy & Rosalyn Carter...my eyes were closed like Forrest Gump ;-)
You know, unless it was someone I actually care about like President Obama or Bill Clinton, I could walk right into most 'famous' people and never ever know who they were. I just don't register their names - it isn't one of those things I consider important.
I've got quite a few, thanks to my time in radio - George Strait and Garth Brooks are my favorite memories...and pictures!
