Sunset's Afterglow at Gates Pass, Tucson, Arizona

AZ loan officer Mike in Tucson

Mike in Tucson, Arizona Loan OfficerGates Pass Road winds through a forest of Giant Saguaro cacti, and joins Tucson with the Avra Valley.

The structure you see in the photo is built of rock, and has a stone picnic table and benches inside.  Drive west on Speedway, and this is where you'll top out going over the pass.

It's part of Tucson Mountain Park, and there's a ramada just below the structure you see here that's Handicapped Accessable.  Should you need it, you'll find a "necessary" at the parking lot.

This is a magical spot at sunset, and you owe it to yourself to come visit Gates Pass in Tucson, AZ.

One can/t help but being optimistic! If today ends this great think what the morning will bring!

Then of course it's quickly turns dark and you realize you've got to walk back to the car!

We must always keep our visual up for thing that crawl out from under rocks!

WOW!  Even though I live here and see the beautiful sunsets and sunrises, you consistently capture them vividly in your pictures, impressing your audience as well as myself.

Rain Camp was great!  I created a fan page on Facebook as part of that day's work.  Click Tucson Mountain Park Fan page and "like" it!

Thanks for commenting, and for your referral this afternoon.  Good luck on that REO sale!

I wonder if these would be printed in Arizona Highways magazine?  Don't know how they do it these days.
