It always amazes me how good Arizona sunsets make me feel.  They look like God playing with paints.

You're up early!  Thanks for commenting.

I like the shape of the cloud edge combining with the curve of the hill and the parallax of the lens.

Grab that camera!

You're very welcome!

Just got up to get ready for the drive to Rain Camp.  Leaving Cortaro Rd McDonalds at 3:00 a.m.

Monsoon Sunset: Mike in TucsonLeolinda,

What an awesome sunset.  I'm going there on vacation the middle of September. I'm really looking forward to seeing all the desert beauty.

Hi Miike that is one of the most stunning sunsets I have seen but there is no mistake it is a desert sunset. The colors are amazing.

What amazing colors! That looks like a painting rather than a photo! WOW!

I agree with Barbara-Jo, it looks like a painting.  Did you take it with a wide angle lens??

Mike- That picture is perfect!  I love what you did with the card thing and the no copyright...sharing your gifts with others....just as you did with me last year.  Thank you so much!

You're welcome!  Thanks for stopping by.

You're welcome.  Thanks for your Facebook post and comment.  :)

It's a 25 mm wide angle lens on my "point and shoot," a Panasonic Lumix from Costco.  With coupon, it cost $135. for the camera.  You don't have to spend a lot of money.

Barbara Jo,

It's one of my favorite desert evening shots.  Thanks for commenting.

That's high praise, coming from the master...  THANKS!

August and September give us evenings like this, especially when it's rained earlier in the afternoon.

Thank you, thank you!
