HAFA ~ What Is It, & How Can It Help You?

HAFA ~ What is it, and how can it help you?

One in seven mortgages in the United States is not being paid.  Yours may be one of them.  If so, you need a REALTOR who understands HAFA.

The Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternative (HAFA) is a government program designed to help homeowners who can't afford their mortgages to get out from under without incurring future liability.

You'll need a REALTOR, since HAFA "aids eligible homeowners by pre-approving short sales before listing and releasing them from future liability for the first mortgage debt."

Mike, the CDPE video does make a great marketing tool for agents. Their materials are top-notch, as is your service!

Short, interesting video - but I personally appreciated the links.  Great resource.  I'll have to look into that September class.  Thanks Mike

Mike, this is great information. We just had a long discussion about this in our sales meeting yesterday. BTW, thank you for the card and disc. Watched it yesterday and want to consider it but not until next month. :)

HAFA is a joke.  Only 12% of loans qualify for it...

No sale is a joke, in my humble opinion.  Nothing that the government has done recently has been a winner, but each program that lets someone sell, and someone else buy, is okay by me.  ...especially if I get to do the loan for the buyer.

Good to see you.

You're welcome!  Glad you liked the card.
