It looks like the sky is on fire. What a great shot.
It is interesting to see rain evaporating before it hits the ground...
Fire and Ice. Beautiful photos as always.
Mike,
An hour can make a difference in so many things... these photos could be a great analogy of many things in life. Same building in the photos but oh the difference a little time makes.
Mike,
Both exceptionally fantastic photos too! Very beautiful!
Morning Mike -- your monsoons are creeping into our daily weather activity. We had just a gully washer last night! Sure is helping the grass green up! Great photos too Mike!
Joan,
...and that's a good thing!
Lori,
Thanks for stopping by.
Judi,
I appreciate your perspective.
Cindy,
Thanks! Stop by any time.
Michael,
I wondered if anyone would notice that.
Tim,
Thanks for being the first to comment.

You have soem interesting weather in the desert. If you don't like it, just wait.
Mike, wow! that is beautiful!
Mike, both photos are truly breathtaking. To imagine such a change in one hour – amazing!
Awesome - don't we have the best sky views when monsoons are here?
Beautiful contrast photos, Mike.
Mike,
Amazing photos - truly beautiful
Hmm, sounds like Michael has been here before.
The sky is amazing here and can change so fast that it is completely different in a very short time frame.
Mike I can always count on you to deliver, what a wonderful contrast and oh so beautiful. I too love taking shots of the sky.
Mike,
Really like the top shot. We get rain like in the second shot but I never recall this color. Fantastic. :)
Steve
Wow, great pictures, I really like the contrast of an hour. Here I thought I was going to be looking at pictures of a house that was trashed and then cleaned in an hour :p
Hi Mike...Wonderful, absolutely wonderful. I love photos of the sky. In fact, I love the sky. Driving west through the states where everything seems so wide open was a treat for me. I loved watching changes in the sky.
Thank you.
Kate
Mike,
These great shots are now featured on "Speechless Sundays." Congratulations. :)
Steve
Wow!
Mike,
This view looks familiar great photography!
Sylvia, is that you?
...or Manny?
Bruce,
Glad to oblige.
Teri,
It's my favorite season of the year.
Steve,
Thanks for the feature!
Kate,
The photos, even the movies with western settings, can't do justice to the Open Sky feel of the West.
Carissa,
LOL!
Steve,
Thanks for showing up twice!
Jennifer,
I enjoy the photography on your blog. Thanks for stopping by.
Doreen,
Don't you miss Tucson?!
Dorie,
Thanks for saying so.

Juli,
Yes we do!
Kathleen,
God paints with a bold palette here in Tucson.
Rita,
Thanks!
Larry,
We love the changing weather during the monsoons. See you on your blog.

I love sky and sunset photos - always so dramatic. And the second one is a great picture of verga - the rain that evaporates before it hits the ground.
Susan,
"Verga." I didn't know it had a name; thanks for teaching me! See you on your blog.

Mike, beautiful photos. I learned something new today from Susan...verga!
Mike, these are both so beautiful in very different ways. Nice catch.
Mike,
What beautiful photos, reminds me of what the impressionist painters used to do. Keep painting ths same thing in different lights. Thanks.
