~ The Road Less Travelled ~
I've driven this 12 mile stretch of road six times in the last month. It's fascinating. The desert, the wildlife, the absolute solitude is just magnificent. Other than the caretaker of the park at the end of the road, I've never encountered a single soul. Not once. You might want to visit...
It's worth your while. The ancients walked here, and other than the road, the landscape today is much the same as it was a thousand years ago. Make time in your business for your life. You won't be sorry.

Good post -- and something we all need to think about -- take care.
Love the potos - says it all, pretty and serene!
Good advice. Everyone needs to remember to take time to live life.

Hi Mike, love the photos, especially the paint. Thanks for excluding tarantulas! XO
Not a soul???? Are you sure. I see the soul of a horse, a tortois and an eagle. I'm sure "the ancients" would agree.
Absolutely beautiful Mike. I love seeing Arizona through your eyes.
Mike: Great photos and very timely advice. One of my colleagues just suffered a massive stroke. Her life is changed forever and so is mine.......I'm taking time each day to appreciate the little things. It isn't all about getting the most deals, getting awards, getting the most $, etc. It's about enjoying life, interacting and making a difference, and being someone people will remember. Take time for your drives.
Mike,
Thanks, I love it!
It's a true blessing to be able to see the fascinating beauty around us. So many sad people would look at the first photo and see nothing, surly they are more blind than the sightless.

I live by these words. I have reworked my schedule this coming up year to make plenty of room for my sons school year. Family first work second
No doubt, Mike - good advice (which I need to pay attention to more often). Getting wrapped up in the minutae of day-to-day business makes it easy to forget what makes living so precious.
Hi Mike, what lovely scenery, thanks for sharing!
You seem to have reached such a serene place in your life! I'm jealous....very!!
I really love all of the photos you post - you do a wonderful job!!!
Mike--The photos are beautiful...surprised that more don't travel that stretch of road with so much eyecandy!
aaahh, the road may have been there as a trail. No road graders back then, or maybe there were...
Doreen,
I imagine you're right.
Teri,
It's 1 1/2 hours west of Tucson, and there's not much else to do out that way.

I see your point. Is there a difference between "soul" and "spirit?"
