Merry Christmas From Arizona's San Francisco! (Peaks, That Is)

Merry Christmas!

Welcome to Flagstaff, AZTucson isn't known for it's snow-covered scenery, so we took off for a few days to northern Arizona to see what we're missing.  We're staying in Prescott, and the view from our hotel room is a blanket of snow, although the roads are clear.  Yesterday, we drove the scenic route through Jerome, AZ up to Flagstaff, where we were greeted with the snow-capped San Francisco peaks.  We wish you and yours a very merry Christmas!

Great view of the Northern AZ peaks.  My daughter recounted this morning how she had learned to snow ski in AZ.

Merry Christmas!  Thanks for stopping by.

Merry Christmas to you, too.  It's severe clear today as well.  Thanks for being the first to comment.

Hi Mike,

I've lived in Kayenta.   That was a trip!

Have shopped in Flagstaff on a weekly basis (because there's no shopping in Kayenta).

Beautiful country that you are in.

Merry Christmas.

A Christmas Road trip huh?  Doesn't Mt Lemmon get snow?

Posted by Paul Guenther, Empire West Title- Chandler, AZ (Empire West Title Agency) almost 11 years ago

It does, but there are no hotels on Mt. Lemmon!

I'm looking up Kayenta on the map; so was it more rural thank Oklahoma?

Vegas Bob,

Merry Christmas!  We'll be back in sunny Tucson by Sunday.

Same to you!  Thanks for stopping by.

It will be my pleasure!

A happy New Year! Grant that I
May bring no tear to any eye
When this New Year in time shall end
Let it be said I've played the friend,
Have lived and loved and labored here,
And made of it a happy year.

That is a great picture of a fabulous landscape. It looks like the road just slams into the mountains and stops. Merry Christmas. :)

Mike, I spent some time in AZ a few years ago vacationing. I was really amazed at the diverseness of the area...

Hoping you enjoy what this holiday season has to offer and a healthy, prosperous new year...

Mike, It's a beautiful photo and I loved Prescott when I visited Arizona.   I believe I did the same scenic route because I remember being in Jerome as well.  I loved everywhere I went in Arizona!  Happy Holidays!

It sure does!  Merry Christmas!

Same to you and yours!

You're very welcome!  You were up late...

Terry & Bonnie,

I'll drive back to Tucson this evening after a train ride through the Verde Valley (camera in hand) and Spring will have arrived!

Right you are!  We drove the road to the end, and it was a dead end.

I'm sure you had an enjoyable visit!  Come back soon.

Mike, If I could speak for the citizens of Arizona-I would choose you as our ambassador of everything beautiful in AZ. So happy you decided to promote northern AZ as well as the south. Can't wait for the pictures of the Verde Valley. I've done the Verde Valley train ride in the summer-never winter. I wonder if the bald eagle will be in her nest.

Mike, Yhanks for sharing the vista. We had a skiff of snow two weeks ago and it's all gone. It can stay like this until I leave for Cabo.

We're glad to be back in sunny Tucson, where the temperature this first weekend of the New Year will be in the 70's!

I was surprised too, especially as they had a whopper of a storm just two days before we took the photo!  Happy New Year!

Thanks for stopping by, and a Happy New Year to you and yours!

When are you coming south?  We ought to hike together!

We sure did!  Happy New Year!

I love your "success" tag line.  Happy New Year, my friend!
