Mike, I am constantly enamored with the color contrasts associated with the sunrises and sunsets in the desert southwest. I most likely would have worn out my DSLR by now...

Wow, Mike.  That's gorgeous.  Talk about an explosion of color.  Well done!

Thanks for sharing the beautiful sunset.  I thought I would take a pic of a nice sunrise the other day and with the camera that I am using it was just short of a disaster.

Wow! I thought our mountain sunsets were pretty amazing, but your desert ones are spectacular too.

Mike, you get some awesome sunsets out there!  Isn't it amazing that they're always different and can still inspire us even after watching hundreds or thousands of them.

Beautiful Mike. I love sunsets and sunrises ... especially when they are full of color. Interesting to see the different colors in different parts of the country. Beautiful photo!

Mike, this reminds of some painting I saw a long time ago by one of the great impressionists. Thanks for sharing.

I have been enjoying the sunsets up here in Phoenix, as well. You have a wonderful knack for preserving the flighting images for us. Thank you.

Arizona is magnificent!

That's the word!

It's always good to see you; thanks for stopping by.

You bet!

I get that impression too.  LOL

Where've you been?

I'll bet you've had some spectacular sunsets this week up there in Gold Canyon with all the cloud cover Arizona has had.

It never fails to inspire me.  When you dig out of all that snow you've been having, come on down!

It's good to see you.  Thanks for taking time to visit.

Lee & Carol,

What a beautiful mountain sky!  Thanks for sharing.

Sounds like Santa needs to bring a new camera this year!

We'll see you on your blog; love the Alaska photos!

Come on down to Tucson and give it a whirl!

Thanks for being the first to comment; this was a fantastic weekend.  Hope the same for you.

Mike you know that looks like a great painting so I cannot imagine the majestic beauty you had before you when photographing this sunset. I would have been too awestruck to capture this just busy gazing! Thanks for the eye candy this morning :)

How did I miss this one.  I love how clouds can just look like they are all hanging there together and then the sun sets and you can see they are no where near each other...
