When I saw Tucson and sunset in the title I knew they would be great - as always. :)

Wow!  It looks like holt, molten lava in the sky.  That must have been awesome to witness.  Fabulous!

Beautiful photos. Hope the weather is cooling down there -- it surely has here! And, we got some rain today!

Thanks; we could use some rain...

We're blessed to be closer to the equator, I think.  I grew up in the rainforest of South America, and we had breathtaking sunsets there too.

We saw on the TV that Flagstaff is seeing frost on the pumpkin!

Jesse & Cathy,

I'll bet Fairbanks is seeing more than frost...  LOL

It was spectacular!

Thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for being the first to comment; you'll have to make the trek one of these days.

Mike you take some amazing shots but my gosh this is absolutely stunning. The sky looks like it was on fire and burning into the hillside.

Mike - Is this normal or unusual for Tucson. If it's normal, I'm going to have to visit soon.

Posted by Larry Brewer - Benchmark Realty llc (Benchmark Realty LLc) over 11 years ago

Mike - Wow!  The photos themselves are breathtaking.  I can't even imagine the feeling of seeing that much beauty in person.

Funny, Saturday evening I was driving home here in Gilbert, AZ and saw the beautiful sunset and thought I nedd to bring my camera whenever I leave the house to capture these beautiful sunsets that only last a little while. You did it for me. Thank you.

Posted by Deanne Olivas, Your Home Matters (eXp Realty) over 11 years ago

NEVER leave home without your camera!

It's awesome!

It's not normal, but it's not unusual.

I couldn't agree more.  Did you ever check out City Art in Columbia?

That planet's called Tucson.  Come visit!

Red sky at night...  And it's beautiful this morning!

It's the texture of the clouds that makes our sunsets so awesome on nights like this one.

I will.  You, too!

Wow what an amazing sunset.  I can see now that the next time I'm driving out west I need to schedule my drive through the desert at night.  That would be worth the sun in my eyes for a few hours.
