My friend Jim Hogan is a performer and songwriter, in addition to being the owner (along with Esther) of the Hogan School of Real Estate. He wrote a song in close harmony called "Twilight in Tucson."
I think this must have been what he had in mind when he wrote that song. If I could find a rendition on YouTube, I would have embedded it here for you.
Have a great night!

Vegas Bob,
Thanks for being the first to comment. We have some spectacular cloud formations during the monsoons.

You could make me want to live in Tucson just from your photos alone! You are capturing such beauty!
That is certainly a breath taking view. Margaret's right it makes me want to be there.
Mike, I also like this photo, great shot!
Mike, You certainly live in a beautiful part of the country. I look forward towards seeing your photos...
Helping you live your American dream...
Beautiful, Mike! Beautiful! If I were playing the 'name that cloud' game I'd have to say it looks like a jet coming in for a landing. :)
Mike,
Michael, only covered part of the subject. You certainly see the beauty that surrounds us all! After two decades in Las Vegas I find that most people only see the stark desert. Never experienced the kaleidoscope that is the desert or the cornucopia of flora and faun.
Thanks for bighting our mornings.
Bill
Mike,
Fantastic shot. Very unusual cloud formation and the color is unique.
Rich
Mike,
It is always great to see your photos. They well convey your love of the desert!
Another beautiful shot, Mike! You are certainly very talented with that camera!
You do always bring the color out and have a great landscape that allows for your job to be just that much easier.
Neat clouds, looks like a big ole jet airliner... carrying me too far away!!!
One day, you might put a compilation of your best photos on line. This is another good one.
Patrick
Nice photo. You should do a compilation sometime.
Hi Mike: You are a talented photographer - thanks for sharing with us.
:)
Nicely done, Mike! Just looking at that photo makes me relax.

Mike--Clouds make such pretty subjects for photos...beautiful!
Mike that's a beautiful picture. You know everyone sees something different when they look at cloud formations. Some see faces, a dog, their Aunt Jean, you know what I mean? To me the clouds in this picture remind me of the space ships in the original "War of the Worlds" from the early 1950's. I know it sounds crazy but that's what I see.
Michael,
I like your view the best so far!
Teri,
Don't they?!
Mike,
That's the idea! Thanks for stopping by.
Matt,
Thanks for the kind words.
Lyn,
I'm working on it.
Patrick,
Check out my album on FB.
Caron,
Sounds like you need an AZ vacation!
Laura,
Ya think?! :)
Sharon,
I'm blessed to live in Tucson!
Mike,
It's good to see you. What happened to the top of your head? :)
Rich,
Thanks! The colors here change by the second at or around sunset.
Bill,
You're welcome! Thanks for being a regular here on my tucson blog.
Carol,
"...leaving on a jet plane... Don't know when I'll be back again..."
Michael,
True!
Tony & Darcy,
Thanks for saying so!
Suesan,
It's time for a vacation! Come on out!
Margaret,
It's a wonderful part of the world. Now if only the Inner Harbor were closer...

I agree with Carol it does look like a plane. Thanks for sharing your photos.
Hi Mike, great shot. Desert air provide wonderful sunrises and sunsets and an occasional spectacular nighttime lightning storm.
I love Tuscan and those glorius sunsets...very beautiful... like being there! thanks
HELLO MIKE! I see a dolphin splashing and getting ready to jump back into that beautiful purple blue "ocean" in the sky. Ok ... back to reality - it really shows the terrific colors in the Tucson skies! -- Gabrielle
Great picture, Mike. This is exactly what L.A. looks like at sunset with the fires.
Love the colors and the photo! I see a mouse with a long nose. ;-)
Hi Mike - What a cool looking cloud! Makes me think of a tornado or a whale. I think I'm going to spend this weekend doing some serious cloud watching. ;-)
Beautiful shot... as always.
this cloud formation is called a whisk cloud. it's abt 77 degree in this picture i would predict. Send this in.....it's a very rare photo and is worth $49 at auction blown up to 3 feet by 4 feet.
